Usually, we believe that roots live below the surface, in a dark space called earth. But we can find them everywhere. There are many typ of roots: adventitious, aerating, aerial, contractile, coarse, fine, haustorial, propagative, proteoid, stilt, structural etc. Like traditional customs, their functions are absorption, storage, supporting, anchoring and reproducing.
